Right Down the Middle. Almost.

Tanner had his 15 month check up today, and he's completely average...in height (50%) and weight (50%). Though, he's still like an orange on a toothpick with a head circumference in the 97th percentile. And we all know what side of the family he gets that from. Funny enough, he only grew a 1/2 inch, but he put on almost 3 lbs. It's all a little Buddha belly. Love it.

Pretty busy lately now that I'm back to work full time (and kind of loving it). Here are a few of the latest updates, ala Tannerisms:

- Loves to snuggle with anything and everything by nuzzling an object under his chin and sighing. He especially loves to do this with magnets and toast.

- Blows kisses

- Loves to give hugs and kisses (mostly to stuffed animals, but occasionally to mom and dad too). He usually accompanies a hug with a few pats on the back.

- Made up his own sign for pacifier, which is also the sign for food. Kind of makes meals interesting.

- Walking like a champ, and when he falls, he gets right up. No tears. That's our boy.

- Repeating lots of words, though his favorite are animal noises with ooo ooo (that's Monkey) at the top of the list

- Enjoys feeding his stuffed Monkey and his parents his bottle

- Says baby and uh oh for everything

- Seems to like daycare, except the end of the day when all the kids gather by the door to listen for the doorbell and anxious parents to greet them. Tanner gets so excited that if other parents arrive before us and rings the bell, he's hysterical until we come.

- Can finish a cut up banana in 20 seconds flat

- Laughs when he farts

- Laughs when Dadda farts

- Likes a good band jam. He hogs the drums while we "play" guitar.

- Waves and says hi to everyone. Scary homeless people included.

- Favorite toy to date: wooden spoon. Doesn't leave his grip for more than 2 minutes, except for meals, when he tries to finish in under 3 minutes

- Likes to pat his belly when he's undressed

- Fascinated with holding things in between his toes.

Off to Boston, Connecticut and NY for the 2 week worldwind family/friend tour starting this Saturday. On a posting hiatus, but promise of lots of pics to follow.
