State of Behind
As a parent, you are constantly behind - you're chronically 15 minutes late, even if you have to meet someone down the street; you're behind on thank you notes from Tanner's birthday in August; you're 3 months overdue for a haircut; and you're 3 months behind posting to the blog. It's a never ending battle I've succumbed too. Thankfully, most of my friends are of the "behind," so it all evens out.
On other behind notes, Frances, Tanner's daycare master has told us that he's ready for pullups. (This is the second time she's told us. The first one we ignored). What? He kicks and screams when we put him on the potty at home, despite buying a Lighting McQueen special edition throne with motor sound flush. I swear, Tanner's a different kid at day care. Potty trained. No pacifier. No ducky. The first thing he does when he gets through the door at home is takes a dump and goes for the pacifier. I know it's bad to say, but I think she's either Hitler or drugs them. He's not the same kid between the hours of 8am-5pm. He's viceless.
